Brenham Kansas Pallasite Meteorites
Wednesday, April 2nd, 2008These meteorites are known as Brenham Pallasites and come from the strewnfield in Brenham, Kansas. There are many specimens available from this location where a 1,400 kilogram meteorite was disovered by meteorite hunter Steve Arnold. Pallasites are stony iron with iron and silicate and are considered to be some of the more beautiful meteorites because of olivine crystals which may be found in them.
